Remembering Arlington Heights High School Memorial Page for:

Cindy Honey - Class of 1972

Created by: Katherine Fowler
Memorial Message:
Cindy died yesterday, Sept.2,2008. I met Cindy when we were 12 years old at Monnig Jr. High. Her father had just died and she needed a friend. I was new to the school and I needed a friend. Our friendship has been one of sisters ever since and has endured almost a lifetime. We have laughed and cried together, had our ups and downs in life. We traveled through New York City to Puerto Rico to Germany, France and England together. We always were trying to decide who was Lucy and who was Ethel. Throughout our lives, we have always had each others back. I wouldn't trade knowing her for anything else in the world. I will miss my friend and my sister. It is always hardest for those are left behind. May the lord lift her up and keep her in the hollow of his hand and comfort her. Kathy Fowler

This memorial is late in coming. I am heartily sorry, for I rediscovered this site yesterday. I was at a Houston sandwich shop 2 yrs. ago, right after Hurricane Ike with my computer, when Kathy Fowler Paris told me the news about Cindy's death. I was saddened to hear of her early death, as I remember her as a dancing spirit. She was one of my choir friends along with Kathy, Lynette Mann, Lee Aaron, and Helen McGlynn. She had accomplished a great deal within the Dallas area from the website that Kathy shared with me. She cared for many people. What a great legacy she left in her tragically short life and I am a richer person for having known her. She was a saint on earth. Majel Cooper, Houston
